Albert Moya

Hailing from Catalonia, Spain, Albert Moya is at the forefront of a new generation of film directors who are injecting structure and ambitious storytelling into fashion’s motion-image field.

After assisting director Isabel Coixet in his home country, Moya moved to New York, where he directed his debut short “American Autumn”, that draws on his love of the family drama film genre and the muted color palette of his beloved 1970s movie classics, reimagined with child actors.

Further collaborations soon followed, including “High Tide” for Dries Van Noten, working with the celebrated cinematographer Edu Grau, the Fall/Winter 2016 Mulberry Campaign, working with noted cinematographer Yorick Le Saux, a film for the launch of Derek Lam 10 Crosby Fragrances, working with the actress Hailey Benton Gates and musician Dev Hynes, and multiple commissions for Nowness, featuring such independent creative personalities such as Linda Rodin, Marie-Louise Scio, Kiko Mizuhara and Peter Marino.

Albert continues to work worldwide, lending his unique ability to explore themes and structure in different narrative settings.
